1. Nature of the platform

We provide an internet advertising display service. Every listed entry carries an "Ad" label and every outbound link carries rel="sponsored noopener noreferrer". Rank is determined solely by the effective weight generated by payment — with no algorithmic weighting, editorial judgement, or quality score.

2. Paid ranking disclosure

The site is called a "leaderboard", which is easily mistaken for a recommendation or a review, so this section spells out its nature.

• This is advertising, not a recommendation. Every position on the board is bought. Rank is no evaluation, endorsement, or guarantee of an entry's quality, safety, or legality, and does not mean it is better than the entries below it. We do not review, score, or apply an "editor's pick" label.
• The ranking key is public. Rank = effective weight = cumulative spend × (1 − daily decay rate)^{days paused}. The decay rate, parameter table, and half-life table are published once, in the ranking engine notes on the home page (we deliberately do not duplicate them here, so the two cannot drift apart); opening bids, increments, and gap top-ups are in Pricing. No other undisclosed factor affects rank.
• Clearly labeled. Auction rankings are labeled "Ad" in three places: the per-row Ad badge on the main board, the disclosure band above the board, and the disclosure in the footer.
• Link labeling. Every outbound link to a listed entry carries rel="sponsored", declaring it to search engines as a paid link that carries no natural search-ranking signal — so we neither manipulate search results nor expose listed sites to penalties for non-disclosure.
• Interest disclosure. Our revenue comes from placement fees paid by listed parties. Apart from that fee there is no commission, revenue share, or other undisclosed arrangement between a listed party and us. If we introduce affiliate-style partnerships, we will disclose them here and on the affected entries.
• No performance guarantee. A slot guarantees only the rank shown — not impressions, clicks, conversions, or sales. Any third party promising conversion results in our name is unconnected to us.

Drafted with reference to the U.S. Federal Trade Commission "Guides Concerning the Use of Endorsements and Testimonials in Advertising" (16 CFR Part 255) on paid-ranking disclosure, so the disclosure reads consistently for cross-border buyers and regulators.

3. Content sources

Listed content is supplied by the listing party. We run a three-tier mechanism (automated pre-screening, manual sampling, report response), but given the limits of technology and manpower we cannot guarantee that every unlawful item is blocked. If you spot a problem, report it via the report channel and we will respond within 24 hours.

4. Outbound link risk

Clicking a listing takes you off this site to a third-party website. That site's content, security, privacy policy, and terms are outside our control and we accept no responsibility for them. Where a decision involves a transaction, investment, medical, or financial matter, verify the counterparty's credentials and judge carefully.

5. About the data

This is a demonstration build: merchant names, descriptions, amounts, and traffic figures on the board are sample data and represent no real transaction or entity. After launch, aggregate figures such as total transaction value and listing counts will be published in the home-page stats bar for public verification.

6. Third-party services

Payments are handled by the merchant-of-record (MoR) provider. Invoices are issued by the MoR provider as seller of record. We are not liable for losses caused by a third party's outage, delay, or change of its own rules, but we will help you liaise with them.

7. Force majeure

We are not liable for service interruption, data loss, or ranking errors caused by force majeure — natural disaster, war, government action, carrier failure, or large-scale cyber-attack — but we will do our best to restore service and will publish an explanation.

8. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability for this service is capped at the amount you actually paid for the relevant entry. We are not liable for indirect loss, loss of profit, or loss of data arising from your use of, or inability to use, the service.

This disclaimer forms part of, and has the same effect as, the Terms of Service.
